Privacy Policy

Your data, respected

Last updated · 4 July 2026

We built Quen Labs to be a studio you can trust — and that starts with being straightforward about the information we handle. This policy is written in plain language and reflects how we actually work: collect little, guard it well, and never sell it.

01Who we are

Quen Labs ("Quen Labs", "we", "us") is a web design studio that builds websites for founders and small teams. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to quenlabs.xyz and to any project work we carry out for you.

If you have any questions about this policy, email us at hello@quenlabs.xyz and we will respond within one business day.

02Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the studio. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:

  • Contact details you give us directly — your name, email address and anything you include when you email hello@quenlabs.xyz or book a call.
  • Booking information — the date, time and notes for any call you schedule through our Cal.com booking widget.
  • Project materials — the content, logos, copy and access credentials you share with us so we can build your site.
  • Basic usage data — anonymised analytics such as pages viewed and approximate region, collected to understand how the site is used.

03How we use your information

We use the information above only to:

  • Reply to your enquiries and schedule introductory calls.
  • Scope, design, build and deliver your website.
  • Send you project updates, invoices and files related to work you have commissioned.
  • Improve our own website and services.

04Legal basis

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the studio and responding to enquiries, the performance of a contract when you engage us for a project, and your consent where you have given it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

05Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate. Each processes only the data required for its function:

  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of this website.
  • Cal.com — scheduling introductory calls.
  • Email and file-sharing providers — communicating with you and exchanging project files.
  • Privacy-respecting analytics — understanding aggregate site usage.

06Cookies

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to load and function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any embedded tools, such as the Cal.com booking widget, may set their own cookies when you interact with them; those are governed by the provider's policy.

07How long we keep it

We retain enquiry emails and project files for as long as needed to deliver your work and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@quenlabs.xyz and we will action your request within 30 days.

09Data security

We use reputable providers, transmit data over encrypted connections, and limit access to project information to the people working on your build. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated to active clients directly.
